The Chronologist Chronicles Ep.15 - Murder at Chalet Brantifax

Snarl and Snort share a tense moment, but they don't have much time for discussion as a scream for help pierces the patter of rain and rumble of thunder. Intruders with murderous intent have invaded the Chalet, putting everyone in danger, and the gang leaps into action to fend off the threat! Taking out enemies from the top floor to the cellar, they meet a familiar foe attempting to free (or possibly kill?) Fordson. Choices are made, and choices have consequences.

The Chronologist Chronicles Ep.16 - Into the Stablands

The initiates prepare for the journey east, across the southern edge of the Hinterlands, to the remote kingdom of the Stablands. When the Hurtz Inter-Hinterland Wagoneers arrive, they do so with friendly faces in the mix: Urthur Broadbarrow, having left Immerfell to join the initiates in the field, and the harpy-beset duo Roscoe "Lightning" Thislewhip and Phyllisus "Danger" Forkwalker! No mere one-shot guest characters, Roscoe and Phyll joined up with the Hurtz Mercs as they needed something to do after the events in Vermeillon and Phyll saved Roscoe from impending harpy death. Together again, the gang travels eastward with their armed and armored escort. Stabman guides the caravan to cut through boar trails near his homeland after a few days of travel, in order to save time reaching the city, but Fordson and drow priestesses aren't the only evils that would see our heroes fail to solve the mysteries unfolding before them. . .

Accosted by the mysterious Black Knights on the road to the Stablands, Snarl, Stabman, Roscoe, and Xyfiel desperately fight back. Roscoe's disregard for the flammability of the forest leads to unforeseen consequences that would make Smokey the Bear cry in the fetal position. Stabman hatches a dangerous plan, but will it be enough to make it out of the forest with life and limb?

The game instantly changes as Harry Jones Fordson slinks off into the night. Snarl, Stabman, and Xyfiel desperately give pursuit hoping to bring the villain to justice. Roscoe and Phyll do their best to put out the mysterious wildfire that suddenly appeared and without warning, without anybody knowing who started it. Dark revelations unfurl themselves as the group moves further. . .into the Stablands.

The gang meets the man that passed such incredibly dominant masculine genes down to Hieronymous: King Stabman himself! Wounded in the previous days' combats, but not out of the fight, he fills everyone in on what has happened. Though Hieronmyous and his friends were able to take out a contingent of Knights and dispel Waldman for a time, the King fears many more enemies lie in wait throughout the city, and Waldman may not be so easily dispatched.Roscoe finds love(?) and provides medical assistance. Snarl and Stabman convince Vinique to embark on a most perilous journey. Xyfiel sees what his elven eyes can see. . .

Xyfiel is the first to notice a pillar of light erupting from the coliseum to the south, but the entire castle quickly scrambles into action. The Chronologists meet on a patio with the King and Brinhilde to assess as more pillars of light make an appearance in other parts of the city. . .including the Queen's Gardens. Following Roscoe's lead, the group rushes to meet the enemy and finds a familiar foe conspiring with new ones!

The Chroniclers confront the Azarai Priestess and Cultists of Karazarak in the mausoleum at the center of the Queen's Grove. There the weaving of a hideous arcane ritual has begun, but the cultists are not the only ones who deal in blood when the fate of an entire city is on the line. Snarl keeps a foot in each realm of harm and heal, Xyfiel learns blood is thicker than water, Stabman screams the entire time, and Roscoe casts echoes beyond time and space.

The Chronologist Chronicles Ep.24 - Raiders of the Rumbledome

The elder twin Stabman, Prince Archibald is confirmed alive by the party, if not happy and healthy. Their position immediately revealed to the enemy, the team leaps from the stands and into action, cutting down Black Knights and cultists alike. A bald and annoying cult leader pretends he's cool enough to get into a wizard fight with Roscoe but learns the true nature of badass magic the hard way. Karazarak attempts to intervene as the party sets their heels in for the last push to save not just Archibald, but the entirety of the Stablands.
